Jost Van Dyke

Jost Van Dyke is what you want, but so rarely get, from an island vacation. Here you’ll have quiet days lounging in a hammock under the palm trees, and lively nights sharing stories with yachties about their travels around the islands.

There’s not much to Jost Van Dyke (aka Yost Van Dyke).  But that’s kind of the point.  There are only 4 square miles, just 150 residents and lots of beaches. There’s little else to do but soak in the sun on the beaches or enjoy your aft deck, your sun deck, or all the water toys on your rented Taylor’d Yacht Charters  yacht .

And the beaches outnumber the hotels here, making it the least crowded island in the Caribbean.  Yacht guests love the privacy.  The best beaches and most of the  restaurants are on the southern side at White Bay and Great Harbour. White Bay was noted by Travel and Leisure as one of the best beaches in the world.  The island’s two famous bars, Foxy’s and Soggy Dollar, are also located here.  If you are island hopping, Jost Van Dyke makes for a great stop on your chartered yacht from Taylor’d Yacht Charters with it’s popular swim-up Soggy Dollar bar and friendly locals.
