Yacht Chartering in Greece this 2017 has been Excellent

2017 has turned into an extraordinary year for Greek tourism, with a 20-70% rise in pre-bookings and a 90-100% occupancy rate in the most popular destinations. Elena Kountoura, Greece’s Tourism Minister, recently made the welcome announcement, adding that there has also been a sharp increase in bookings and overnight stays. The Greek Tourism Confederation has also confirmed that a record breaking 3.2 million visitors are expected to arrive in the country’s various airports in the month of August. With an increase of 6,6% on last year’s arrivals for the same period, the figures can only be good news for Greece in terms of travel receipts.
